Dear FuSuMaTech Colleagues, dear visitors of our website,
As you know , following the kick off meeting held at CERN on October 26th FuSuMaTech has now really started .
The FuSuMaTech Working Group discussed a set of common subjects of interest and 10 subjects have been selected to start the process of FuSuMaTech Initiative (5 R&D&I subjects and 5 technology demonstrator subjects).
As far as R&D&I should not only be based on academic subjects but should also be developed by demonstrators or technology pilots, both pathways are proposed: half of the subjects are generic R&D&I actions and half of the subjects are practical applications.
The twelve partners engaged in this Coordination and Support Action (CSA) project proposal, FuSuMaTech-Phase 1, view the Future Emerging Technologies (FET) programme of Europe’s Horizon 2020, and in particular the FET-Open line of action, as an opportunity to continue exploring synergies together. FuSuMaTech-Phase 1 opens an era of close collaboration within Europe’s cutting-edge superconducting magnet Industry.
